Rebel Girls in the Media

Largely ignored by the woke mainstream — but we spoke freely on conservative online channels and in newspapers. Seventeen interviews, reviews and podcasts.

About these appearances

The pieces collected here cover the book from many angles. You will find newspaper interviews such as the ones in Reformatorisch Dagblad and Doorbraak, a column in De Telegraaf, a magazine feature in VROUW, podcasts and video conversations, reviews, and portraits of people who worked on the book, including its photographer Iratxe Álvarez and contributor Marianne Driessen.

Most of these conversations deal with the themes of the book: the pressure on girls and young women, online culture, gender ideology, feminism across generations and the freedom to speak openly. Several pieces are interviews with Sybilla Claus herself; others are texts by contributors, such as the essay by Sarah Mittermaier on the reasons why young women detransition.
